„linearly earthed“ („linear geerdet“) and their connection with wheat.
At a time when wheat – the nutricion of mankind – is abused as a weapon by a dictorship, I have taken wheat at my special material together with my usually normally woodcuts, woodprints, drawings and scalpelldrawings for my new drawings for Paris.
My drawings are generally defined by lines. This time I have even dryed and ironed straws of wheat. So fine lines are permeating the fragile natural piece of nature becoming a piece of art. This linearly earthed is ancient and actual at the same time. It is unique item made by woodprint. The combination and communication of various techniques is here essential for my art in this collection of „Confluence of Lines“ in october 04- 2023.
